A hit man for underworld, who escaped the clutches of Mumbai police at
the age of 19 the speculation about his existence and survival is still a
mystery which is set to be unfolded on silver screen.
A film name
mid nineties on Mumbai's most wanted contract killer, Feroz Abudulla Sarguroh,
alias Feroz Konkani who was directly promoted to the rank of shooter by the D
Company is under production.
Rahim
Khan of Armah Entertainment Ltd, who co produced Chori Chori Chupke Chupke has
planned this film on Konkani and about the same, he reveals, Manish Vatsalya
who directed the movie jeena hai to thok dal and neel nitin mukesh upcoming
movie dushehra will direct this movie "
Actor Irfan khan ,manoj bajpaye and ravi kishan is likely to be casted .The
life of sharp shooter Konkani had a lot of drama, action, suspense which made a
true thriller to be canned on the silver screen."
Though
the makers assured that Kokani was not been glorified as an hero, Khan adds,
"His escape from the clutches of the Mumbai police and resurfacing as a
supari killings calling shots from the International turf and a sudden
announcement of his death which Feroz is still speculated to be alive makes an
interesting film plot."
Dreaded
contract killer and the main accused in BJP MLA Ramdas Nayak's murder, Feroz
Konkani, escaped from the JJ Hospital after two men riding a motorbike barged
into the hospital and opened fire at his police escort.
Konkani has 18 murder charges against him,
including the double murder which had sparked the second round of communal
riots in Mumbai in January 1993.
